
Gray, damp, cold. The climate of the mountains grows harsher by the day as the solstice draws nearer. Driven by fantastically complex interactions between the water, the earth, and the air, a mist has risen to drift aloft above the streams and navigate a labyrinth of leafless flora, revealing and concealing ridges and hillsides both near and distant. It yields a sight that is simultaneously breathtaking and eerie.
