A village of woodland water fairy homes nestled in a dark forest, where infrastructure is provided by the native flora and augmented by the local arachnids.
Photography, like a magician’s trick, is always explicable by means of science and to seek knowledge and understanding is indeed a noble endeavor, but sometimes it’s better to not know the how’s and why’s and simply admire our universe with wonder.
The subjects of this exposure are simply large dew drops hanging from many branches. By reflecting the bright cloudy sky, they appear to glow against a dark background. Then throw in a bit of post processing work to alter the color and contrast and the image above is yielded. But if you toss all the technical details aside for a moment and let the mind wander, what will you see?
