Vibrant clouds beam in the sun just before golden hour.
Story time:
We had just returned from an outing and everyone was unloading the car. It was poised to be a busy evening with just the normal evening activities except that we were a bit late getting back and I still didn’t have a dinner plan, so I was expecting a bit of a scramble. I had been hoping for some good golden hour shots this day, but cloud cover was rolling in from the east and I suspected that by the time the sun got low, the skies would be overcast again (spoiler alert, they were). But as we were piling out, I glanced up quickly and the skies behind us were gloriously vibrant. I paused amidst the hustle to grab a few exposures and this one was my favorite. It’s been a very gray and cloudy winter and these sorts of moments always brighten my day. I hope it can brighten yours.
